CloseRoger Brown is a corporate headhunter living beyond his means trying to buy the love of his beautiful wife Diane. In order to make ends meet he starts to moonlight as an art thief. He uses his day job to find out where business men keep their most valuable paintings and then steals them come nightfall. When he encounters Clas, owner of a priceless Rubens, everything starts to go completely and utterly wrong.
An exercise in escalation, director Morten Tyldum builds up this story with incredible panache, creating a true gem of a thriller, adapted from the novel by Jo Nesbo.
