Brian Bishop is Education Director at Warwick Arts Centre. In post since 1996, he has greatly expanded the work of the Department particularly in the area of home-grown arts education projects primarily focusing on children/young people in schools. Prior to working at Warwick Arts Centre, Brian was Head of Education at the Belgrade Theatre Education Department, Coventry for 2 years having previously been an actor/teacher with the Belgrade Theatre in Education (TIE) Company for 12 years devising, writing and performing new TIE programmes for city schools. He trained in Drama at the New College of Speech and Drama and Exeter University and was a drama teacher for a number of years before coming to Coventry.
Innovative independent theatre producers China Plate have joined Warwick Arts Centre as Associate Producers; China Plate will be programming and delivering three seasons of vibrant, engaging, contemporary theatre for Warwick Arts Centre’s Studio Theatre and exploring new ways for the centre to engage with theatre artists in developing new work. China Plate is a partnership between Producer Ed Collier and Director Paul Warwick for delivering innovative artistic development opportunities, acting as a conduit for collaboration and encouraging leaps into unknown creative territory. Through projects like The Darkroom, The Optimists and the First Bite and Bite Size Festivals they have designed a range of bespoke opportunities for theatre artists at every stage of their careers.
Katie is the Marketing Director at Warwick Arts Centre.
Keri has worked at Warwick Arts Centre in her current position since 2000. Having also worked in publishing, childrens TV and in a Police HQ Press Office amongst other things, she is the geek in residence at WAC... and proud of it!
After studying at Reading University and receiving a degree in Film and Theatre I ventured to Salisbury to work in Marketing at Salisbury International Arts Festival. Whilst there I also worked as part of the box office team at Salisbury Playhouse and enjoyed the small town life. Now I am back in the midlands and loving the life of a Marketing Assistant at Warwick Arts Centre. My main loves are theatre and cafe bar drinks and cakes!
