The famous Mead Gallery Knit, Stitch and Crochet club turns one this month, and to celebrate we’re having cake!
We’d love for everyone to come along and joiun us in the Mead Gallery on Thursday 10 May at 6pm, bring your needles or crochet hooks, and get creative.
There will be a special little surprise outside the arts centre to celebrate as well, so look out for that too.
In the meantime, all skills are welcome to the club, it’s relaxed, friendly and free! There are lots of lovely people dying to pass on their skills, and share patterns or gossip so no excuse to not come. If you don’t fancy knitting this week, that’s ok, because it’s the club’s birthday we will mostly be drinking tea and eating cake! Yummy!

Brilliant to go to the Mead Gallery tonight and be given birthday cake by the Knit Club. Love the woolly jumpers on the trees outside the Arts Centre = really cheered me up. Only wish I'd come this morning to get an angry bird.
