Douglas Gordon Exhibition now on at The Mead Gallery

The Mead is now open for the summer term, and we have an exhiting exhibition of film and sound, showing the work of Turner Prize winner, Douglas Gordon.
In ‘Feature Film’, the camera follows, and hones in on conductorJames Conlon as he leads the Paris orchestra in the score of Hitchcock’s ‘Vertigo’ which is shown on a smaller screen. In ‘Zidane’ the camera follows footballer Zinedine Zidane during an entire football match, all shown on carefully placed screens throughout gallery 3.
Maestros is a must see exhibition for all film, classical music and art fans.
