Job Opportunities in our Education Department

Two job opportunities have become available within our Education Department for an Education Officer (maternity cover) and an Education Administrator (maternity cover). Both contracts are available for an 8 month period, and full details are attached on the right-hand side of this page.

The Education Department works predominantly in the formal education sector across all arts forms and all ages. We support the artistic programme of the Arts Centre through workshops, theatre days, tours and multi-arts activities, as well as weekend and holiday activities for young people. We also run large-scale projects in schools, both primary and secondary and across all art forms, from a 3-year dance development plan to a one-term theatre-making project and everything in between. In 2010/11, 44,326 contacts were made through sessions with over 15,000 young people, organised and managed by the Education Department and facilitated by a team of freelance artists and arts educators.
