Now On Sale
Thursday 02 August 2012
We are delighted to announce that a whole host of events have recently gone on sale at Warwick Arts Centre, and there are particular treats in store for all you comedy and music fans.
On the comedy front, Josie Long fans will be pleased to hear that she is bringing her sixth solo show Romance & Adventure here in December and The Thick of It star Chris Addison brings his latest show The Time is Now Again to us early in the New Year. After walking the wall in the West Bank, becoming Guinness World Record holder for political protests and chasing arms dealers around the country, Mark Thomas turns his attention to matters closer to home with a show about his father – Bravo Figaro!
If music is more your thing then check out the virtuoso pianist and self-proclaimed musical genius Chilly Gonzales. Sons of Kemet bring their loud and earthy beats here in October, and BBC World Music Award nominees Tinariwen (the Kings are Queens of guitar poetry) have caught the attention of Robert Plant and Thom Yorke so they come with high praise. Little Annie Bandez & Baby Dee form a perfect double bill and Bollywood Brass Band and Rafaqat Ali Khan s the UK’s pioneering Indian-style wedding band, playing the great tunes and compulsively danceable rhythms of the most popular music in the world.
All these events are now on sale – book online now or call the Box Office on 024 7652 4524.
