Sep & Oct Films Now On Sale

Our new season of films is now on sale, and we would love you to check us out whether you are a familiar face here at the Arts Centre’s cinema, or you’ve never visited us before. Our cinema is small but perfectly formed, featuring top-quality Dolby digital sound and air conditioning. More intimate than your multiplex chains, we present popular comedy hits as well as quirky foreign films.

This autumn, we have sure-fire Oscar contenders (Anna Karenina), fantastic foreign imports from Norway (Jackpot), Iran (About Elly) and Germany (Barbara). There’s gentle comedy (Hope Springs), taut thrillers (Shadow Dancer) and poignant drama (Take This Waltz). There’s a good mix of captivating documentary (The Imposter), and fascinating film talks, this month featuring a discussion on Alfred Hitchcock.
