Watch The Quiet Man Suite from Boys Dancing!
Tuesday 02 October 2012
If you’ve been following the blogs of our Education Officer Brian over the past couple of months, you will know that he has been involved with the brilliant Boys Dancing project, which aimed to get young men from schools across the West Midlands dancing and engaging in this physical and mental activity. The culmination of this work has been the creation of The Quiet Man Suite, a series of six short films made over the space of a few months, that aimed to “explore issues of masculinity, strength, sensitivity, independence and cooperation and challenge stereotypes.”
Following premieres across the county, the films are now available to watch online, where you can see the fruits of this particular labour of love!
