Willowbrook Creative Club

Warwick Arts Centre is committed to providing accessible artist led creative activities for all ages.

At Willowbrook Retirement Village in Canley, there are many residents who are keen to continue their creative journeys but can’t always access the events and workshops that we run at Warwick Arts Centre.

Willowbrook Creative Club has run for the last 3 years alongside our Playing Out in Canley project, supporting the residents’ wellbeing and bringing the arts to their doorstep.

Led by local artist, Carrie Backhouse, this programme aims to cultivate a sense of belonging and creative empowerment in the residents with a series of reminiscence and accessible hands on, making activities.

We are taking a short break from this project whilst we work with our Canley Steering Group on planning activities and events for the local community.
