Arts & Play: 4 activities for children this December at Warwick Arts Centre
Combining the arts with play is the perfect way to support the development of your child alongside making family memories and having fun this season! Plus, building a Christmas calendar with the kids couldn’t be easier here at Warwick Arts Centre. Whatever activity you’re looking for, this December we have something for everyone from tots to teens.
Are you looking to get creative together?
Exploring creativity is a great way to support the development of your child, from encouraging communication, to developing fine-motor skills through trying out different crafts! So why not get creative by joining in on one of our free activities?
Family Sundays FREE (1, 8, 15 December from 1.30pm) continue into December for a family afternoon out full of crafty fun, including badge and flag making. Suitable for all ages.
Mini Creatives FREE (3 December from 10.30am) is a tots-friendly time for art, music, and play – don’t forget to stay for Baby Book Club! 0-4 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Musical Picnic FREE (8 December from 11am) welcomes everyone from the community into a space filled with music, instruments, and performance. Suitable for all ages.

For mind-enriching fun this season, why not get excited about science as a family? Play meets science in an event led by professors, giving your child the opportunity to be excited by science and to learn in a family-friendly space!
Warwick Christmas Lectures (2 December) returns! Get stuck in with Live Labs in our foyer space from 5.30pm, followed by the main event – this hugely popular and award-winning science event is not one to be missed! Suitable for ages 8+.
