Opened in 1974 the Theatre has been a part of Warwick Arts Centre since the beginning. Refreshed in 2017 with new seats and behind the scenes equipment.
The Theatre is a local favourite for national and international touring theatre. It also stages contemporary and international dance, music and comedians.
The auditorium gives an excellent view of the stage and a comfortable experience from all angles. Perfect for performance, lectures and dance schools of up to 200 the Theatre is an excellent venue for a great night out.
Full lighting sound and AV packages are also available.

Theatre Style
Capacity: Up to 575
With the stage extended to its full depth, the Theatre stage is a spacious 11m by 9m deep, providing ample room for all types of events.
If the forestage is removed, additional seating can be added or used as an orchestra pit for up to 40 musicians.
Backstage
Capacity: Up to 100
Shared with the Studio, behind the stage lie ten dressing rooms, several en-suite, a large green room with a small kitchen area, as well as a band room.
