Artist: Ania Bas

Be inspired by a sentence from one of the dazzling novels to create a bespoke collagraph: a print made from collaged materials attached to a board. When inked and printed, the shapes and textures of the materials create interesting surfaces and effects.

This workshop connects to The Future is Today: Prints and the University of Warwick, 1965 to now exhibition and invites participants to create their own collagraphs. Participants will be invited to draw a line of text from a box (a sentence from one of dazzling novels pre-selected by Ania) to be inspired to create an ‘illustration’ reflective of the sentence’s mood or feeling.
