A personal journey through art and the mystery of creativity from filmmaker Mark Cousins.

20 years after her death, Mark Cousins’ (The Story of Film) creative biography explores the life of Scottish artist Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, a leading proponent of the St. Ives Group, and an experience climbing Switzerland’s Grindelwald glacier that transformed the way she saw the world. In this essayistic portrait, Cousins explores themes of gender, climate change and creativity, entering the artist’s imagination so pervasively that he creates the impression we are seeing the world through her eyes.
