Oscar nominees Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield star in Brooklyn director John Crowley’s poignant modern romance.

Pugh is a chef, Garfield an advertising exec. After a chance meeting, they fall deeply in love. Creating a life together, they’re united by the arrival of their daughter (Grace Delaney), until a shattering diagnosis threatens everything they have built.

Scripted by playwright Nick Payne (Constellations), Crowley’s smart, sensitive weepie hops across the moments of joy and sorrow, connection and distance, birth and death that make up our lives. Performed by two brilliantly charismatic performers at the top of their game, this is a perfectly crafted portrait of love and family life drawn into focus by the horror of mortality.
