Tragedy and inspiration combine in this supremely moving doc about the life of Christopher Reeve.

An iconic film star best known for his definitive portrayal of the ‘Man of Steel’, Christopher Reeve was tragically paralysed from the neck down following a near-fatal accident in 1995. He nearly gave up, but with the support of family and friends, instead became a passionate activist for spinal injury research and a tireless advocate for disability rights.

From the directors of McQueen, Super/Man uses intimate home movie footage and interviews with Reeve’s children, plus famous friends Susan Sarandon, Whoopi Goldberg and Glenn Close, to tell a tremendously powerful and hopeful story of real heroism.
