The story of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum – the British computer that changed the world.
In 1982, British inventor Sir Clive Sinclair (who developed later inventions at his lab in the University of Warwick’s Science Park) released the ZX Spectrum home computer. An iconic design, it sold millions worldwide and quickly became one of the most influential technological creations of its time, enabling millions to learn to program and kicking off the British video game industry.
Featuring rare archive material, this fascinating and nostalgic doc explores the ZX Spectrum’s creation and enduring legacy, including the stunning array of games developed on it (Jet Set Willy, Knight Lore, Chuckie Egg, Ant Attack, Saboteur and many more!).
