Cédric Kahn’s (Red Lights, Wild Life) riveting courtroom drama recaps the French trial of the 20th century.

Following the success of Saint Omer and Anatomy of A Fall, another great French courtroom drama arrives on screen. The Goldman Case reconstructs the heated 1976 trial of fiery French left-wing activist Pierre Goldman (an award-winning Arieh Worthalter), who’s accused of double murder but proclaims his innocence. Spare, stripped back and tremendously compelling, The Goldman Case shows how, years before OJ Simpson, this fascinating trial reflected and reshaped the political, ideological and racial tensions of 1970s France.
