Saoirse Ronan (Little Women) stars in the new wartime epic from Oscar-winning director Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave).

In WWII London, nine-year-old George (Elliott Heffernan) is evacuated to the countryside by his mother Rita (Ronan) to escape the bombings. Defiant and determined to return, George embarks on a journey back home as Rita searches for her missing son. With incredible visuals and a dramatic soundscape brilliantly evoking the bombed and burning capital, Blitz is a moving tapestry of British life during the conflict’s decisive moments.
