The Puppini Sisters: 20th Anniversary Tour
Tickets: £29
Students: £7.50
2024 sees The Puppini Sisters celebrate 20 years together.
Founded in 2004 by Marcella Puppini, the band pioneered the neo burlesque/swing scene with their immaculate close harmonies and went on to worldwide success releasing 6 albums.
The first of which became the fastest selling jazz album of all time and gathering a multitude of fans around the globe including Michael Bublè and HM King Charles!
Marcella Puppini says:
“I can’t believe it’s been twenty years – time does fly when you’re having fun and it’s definitely been fun! We love to play dress up, sing old songs with a new spin or new songs with an old spin. Swing is infectious and cool, with its intricate syncopated rhythms and its echoes of fabulous dance parties. Harmony singing, in my opinion, resonates deeply with everybody – it’s as if it speaks directly to the soul.”
To mark this 20th Anniversary The Puppini Sisters will embark on a tour that looks back over their career by performing their hits, fan favourites and a few surprises, in preparation for a brand new album to be released in 2025.
